29+ years by Sharon Caudle

Hello AI Fans!!

Today I've got a couple cards I made using 4901 Teachers Rule Set from Art Impressions. This is a great set for all the teachers in your life! I used the same colors on both of her except the skin tones. I apologize...I'm having a hard time with my pictures because the lens on my Canon died. So while I'm waiting for a replacement lens, all my pictures are being done with my phone and it's just not the same.

Thanks so much for stopping by for a visit and hope to see you back again soon! Until then - stay crafty!!

Spring Chicken by Cheri Burry!

Hello Ai Fans!
Just popping in today to share with you a couple of cards I made using the Art Impressions "Spring Chicken" set. I am a big fan of the "Ai Bird Brains" line of stamps so when I saw these cuties I knew I had to add them to my collection!

I love the way theses cards have a "lift the flap" element to them for an interactive detail!
I chose papers from the American Crafts "Color Crush" collection for a nice spring like feel. After all I have had enough of winter and needed a boost of spring LOL!
Love the saying on the coffee cup!!
Look at all the images and sentiments that come with the "Spring Chicken" set! Oh just imagine all the possibilities!

Sneak Peeks from Creativation! PLUS, Challenge 226 Anything Goes!

Hello, Ai Fans!

Last month, Art Impressions met with store owners and industry friends at Creativation to release our new lines! Creativation is a trade show hosted by the Association For Creative Industries (AFCI, formerly known as CHA), and today we want to share some of our favorite highlights! This includes a look at our beautiful booth, some of the friends we met, and of course, our new stamps!

Please note that we allow our stores to sell our new products first! We want YOU to contact your local store and purchase our products from them! We believe in our independent retailers and love working with many fabulous owners. We appreciate the power of small business and we hope you will contact your nearest store to find many of our fantastic new designs!

Our stylish booth included some of our favorite things: fresh flowers, comfy seating, our homemade Art Impressions marquee sign, colorful posters, NEW products, and beautiful card samples from our design team! Complete with pops of teal and pink, our booth caught the eye of many attendees who came by to see what's new!
Our rainbow make & take table returned to the scene, seating store owners excited to try out new projects and bring home a sample to their store!
Our Photo Booth provided a perfect photo-op for winners of our matching sunnies contest! Similar to our button contest in previous years, we handed out adorable sunglasses with numbers on them - winners find their match and return to the booth for a prize pack!
Phil Krebs, Owner, posing after setting up the photo-shoot wall!
We LOVE going to the show because it means seeing friends, whether they are our long-time wholesale customers or store owners we are meeting for the first time! We hosted a special time for Bonnie Krebs to demo new watercolor sets, walking through step-by-step new products to educate and inspire classes at a store near you!
Last but not least, we are excited to show you some sneak peeks of our new product! Remember, our wholesale customers receive our new products first, so ask your local store and check our dealer locator to find our newest goodies! Our 12 new watercolor sets were a huge hit!

NEW VIDEO - Heart Topiary Watercolor

Hello Ai Fans!

Welcome to our new Watercolor Wednesday video, just in time for Valentine's Day!

This week, Bonnie creates a heart topiary in our ornate container, perfect to share with someone you love! She starts by inking and stamping a flower pot from our Ornate Container Set and adding color from her WC Palette. She cut a heart shape from paper to create an outline to follow for the topiary. Bonnie added flowers, vines, and buds to create a beautiful heart shape. To finish the image, she adds grasses inside and around the bottom of the pot and brushes in a bit of sky.

We hope you enjoy this love-filled video and share a heart with someone you care for! Don't forget to subscribe to our YouTube channel for the latest videos!

Happy Valentine's Day by Dana Warren

Hello AI fans!!

Happy Valentine's Day!!! I'm single so no celebrations for me, but I do have a Valentine card to share with you!! It features the Valentine Mail, part of the Windows to the World stamp line.

I started by stamping the image on white cardstock and using my Spectrum Noir Marker to color it. I used: AB1, AB3, AG1, AG2, AP2, BGR1, BGR2, BGR3, BO4, CT1, CT3, CT4, LG1, LG2, LG4, LG5, PP1, PP2, PP4, PP5, RB1, RB2. I did a bit of quick coloring, leaving some white areas as I colored which helps to give it a light fresh spring-like feel to the image!

Then I trimmed the image down to make a square and round the corners. Next, I decided to use up some old stickers that I have had forever!! They are from SRM Stickers called We've Got Your Borders Valentine. I checked and they show up on their website, but currently out of stock. Not sure if this means to do still carry them or not because I really have had these a long time!!

I basically added the border stickers one after each other across a white card base! Then I added the stamped image to the center with foam dots and last rounded just the bottom two corners!

I hope everyone has a great Valentine's! Happy Stamping!!

Critter Cups Card by Jil Lebel

Hello Ai fans!

Yep, another Valentine card!  This time I thought I'd shake it up a bit!  Not just because I made this a shaker card, but because I changed up the colors I used and I used the Critter Cups 4978 stamp set on a card.  I used the greeting from the Nuts About You 4885 stamp set.

I did two cards and they were both done the same way with different color choices.  I cut two heads and tails from the Critter Cup die cuts that are included in the stamp set.  I stamped the critter face onto Spectrum Noir paper with Intense Black Ink from Simon Says Stamp and colored them with my Copic Markers. I went over the eyes with a Sakura black Glaze Pen to give them dimension.  Once that was dry, I added some highlights with a white gel pen.

I used the Echo Park I'd Rather Be Crafting 6x6 paper pad by Lori Whitlock for the card fronts. I also used it to cut out the bows with the dies from the Critter Cups set. After I had the card front assembled, I cut out the heart die cut. Then I attached the cat head behind the die cut area.
I attached StickIt adhesive to both sides of a piece of fun foam and cut the heart die cut out from the exact same place that I had on the card front.  I stuck it to the front of my card front.  On the card with the brown cat, I used the lighter heart and added it inside the shaker.  I adhered the cat tail to the background heart behind where the cat head would be.  I filled the  fun foam area with pink and frost 4 mm sequins.  I adhered a piece of transparency over the shaker area. The card front was the last part I attached to the full card.  I used a scrap of the card stock to stamp the sentiment that I turned into a banner. I added some assorted enamel dots.

Thanks for stopping by and Have a Great Day!
